Arriving at the Big Caves at Bholsa, Isle of Islay

I'm not sure if they are the biggest caves on Islay, they are certainly close to it, the big caves at Bholsa. This picture is from when we arrived during our walk in April 2012. The caves are towards the left in the steep cliffs, if you look closely you can make out the 'advance party' illustrating how big the caves are. Mala Bholsa in the distance.

Admittedly you can't see where this was on Islay, you just have to trust me this was near Bolsa. A Lizard in grass, spotted during our walk in April 2012.

Where you find caves you often also find natural arches, here's one near the big caves at Bholsa on the north coast of Islay. The walkers show how high this natural arch is, we visited during the Islay walking week in April 2012.
